The Louisiana Orchid Short Course hosted by the Baton Rouge Orchid Society at the LSU Rural Life Museum on the grounds of the LSU Botanic Gardens at Burden.
We will offer an AOS judging for those that have plants they would like judged.
Speakers include Keith and Dina Emig from Florida and Kent and Shelia Daniels from New Orleans.
Keith and Dina will discuss Cattleya's via PowerPoint presentation and Paphiopedilum via hands on demonstration.
Kent and Shelia will discuss Epidendrum Orchids as well as Orchid pest control.
Both speakers will bring plants to sell.
